Camper Information

Thank you for your interest in Camp Northstar. Camp Northstar is very proud to offer our campers the opportunity to enjoy a unique camping experience and the chance to spend a great week away from home. Camp Northstar is a week long sleep away camp; staffed and run by volunteers working together “sharing a dream.”

Camp Northstar provides children and adults with a variety of developmental disabilities including Down’s syndrome, Autism, Asperger Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, and PDD with a week long sleep away camp experience. Although there is no minimum or maximum age most of our campers are between 12-35 years of age. Camp Northstar provides our campers with the opportunity to develop independence socialization and self esteem. Our campers are encouraged to try new activities in a fun supportive environment. Activities at Camp Northstar include sports, arts and crafts, music, boating, performing arts and many more individual and group activities.

Camper Info

Please be aware that space is limited at Camp Northstar and submission of this application is no guarantee that a spot will be available for the applicant. This year Camp will run from Saturday August 24 to Friday August 30 2024. Camp Northstar does not provide transportation to or from camp.

Please complete the Camper Application honestly so that we have an accurate picture of the potential camper, and return it along with a copy of your child’s current behavior plan to:
